In 2012, he was named Practice Leader for Corporate Devel- opment where he oversees marketing, communications, advertising and proposal de- velopment for the firm’s 11 national offices. Cushman earned both his master ’s degree in business adminis- tration and bachelor’s degree in communications from La Salle University. He is a member of the Society for Marketing of Professional Services, Future Cities Com- petition, and serves on the Public Relations Committee for ACEC-Pennsylvania. • Thomas Mitchell, PE , who is the Director of Na- tional Construction Consult- ing Services. Mitchell is responsible for leading, managing and grow- ing five consulting services: Litigation Support, Contract Compliance, Construction/ Surety Consulting, Forensic Engineering and National Transit Institute Training. Prior to joining Urban in 2006, he had accumulated extensive experience with a national claims consultant, in addition to serving the United States Army Corps of Engi- neers for almost 15 years. Mitchell is a professional engineer in five states and has more than 30 years of construction consulting ex- perience. n
