Other NCOS events held from June to August 2020 included Borderless Humans, Voice Talks PH, and E-Kamara and Lobby PH. The topics tackled were in keeping with the current context, such as Mindfulness and Well-Being and Psychosocial First-Aid Basics to promote mindfulness and resilience amidst challenging times.

Capacity building on Psychological First Aid was crucial for CSOs presently, even as an internal mechanism to ensure that we can cope with the challenging times and still deliver our mandates as organizations.” -Voice Grantee

Borderless Humans helped us to understand the importance of inclusion and the important roles and commitment of different stakeholders to address different issues and concerns of the marginalized/ voiceless sector, and the need to ensure that the laws are implemented. The exercise helped us to understand empathy wherein we were able to understand the situation and difficulties of various marginalized groups. We also learned about the positive and innovative interventions and projects for the problems identified, and the short- and long-term solutions engaging the stakeholders.” - Rosa Cosejo, Yakap sa Kaunlaran ng Bata

Given that the design of the activities was new (purely online), it was expected that challenges were encountered. Some of the challenges included capturing enough interest to read and share online posts and participate in the online discussions; keeping the posts top-of-the-list and top-of-mind to drive viewer interest and traffic; security concerns pertinent to the social media space; public exposure; familiarity or know-how in using online technology; having adequate internet connection; having appropriate equipment and software; and finding the ideal venue for online learning and meeting in comparison to face-to-face interactions.
