Even then, a number of the grantees were greatly appreciative of the efforts of Voice and YGOAL in reaching out and ensuring that the Linking and Learning and national summit continues, despite the challenges and restrictions.

Since the pandemic still had not abated and even had new variants to the virus, the 2021 Linking and Learning National Summit was also held virtually in March 2021. The event also marked the culmination of the first cycle of Voice L&L in the Philippines, providing a final avenue to share and amplify to the public stories of change, empowerment, and inclusion while concluding their experience with Voice. It also provided the public with opportunities to join the grantees in their advocacies which is the message of the public amplification. It emphasized the Linking and Learning principle of “Leave No One Behind”, capitalizing on the Linking and Learning community and relationships established among the grantees and RHGs over the years and how it can continue to push for their inclusion advocacies even beyond the funding provided by Voice, while at the same time providing the new Voice grantees from the next funding cycle with a ready community of like-minded groups where they can continue their mission towards their advocacies. Apart from the 48 grantee organizations and RHGs, individuals and organizations who participated in the L&L Pathways of Voice, as well as co-conveners and stakeholders were also invited to the 2021 Linking and Learning National Summit.
This is with a vision of building a bigger community and identifying ways of engaging the group beyond their Voice projects.
