Philippine Council of Organization on Disability and Empowerment Inc. (PHILCODE), formerly the Philippine Council of Cheshire Homes for the Disabled (PHILCOCHED), is an umbrella organization of organizations legally registered in the Philippines, either as associations or foundations with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) or as primary cooperatives with the Cooperative Development Authority. Its member organizations offer programs and services to persons with disabilities such as Residential Homes, Livelihood Activities, Medical Assistance, Formal and Non- Formal Education and those that promote the inclusion of persons with disabilities in mainstream employment. PHILCODE facilitates employment and various resources for persons with disability through their online job and resource hub and mobile application, connecting persons with disabilities and employers. They are happy that they are increasingly reaching more PWDs, able to provide various training needs, and link them to more resources. They will continue with their networking activities and job placements for PWDs. They target to open more doors for opportunities for employment and livelihood for PWDs. The project supports: a) equals.org website management and trainings for persons with disability users; b) Social media marketing of the website; and c) Linkages with other support providers for persons with disability. The project involves persons with disability in all stages. Persons with disability are not only end-users of the project but the management of the website is being done by persons with disability themselves. The equals.org.ph website provides unique avenues to disseminate information on the various resources available for persons with disability.
