Education/Training Essential • Degree level or equivalent qualification • Qualification in some aspect of service design and/or improvement or equivalent experience of Desirable • MBA or similar post experience qualification relevant to the role • A level of qualification relevant to oversight of projects with significant responsibilities for implementation of new IT systems Experience Essential • Experience in leading programmes of professional service transformation • Implementation of new IT systems to support efficient and effective service delivery • Development of an overall programme approach to the development and appraisal of a multi-year programme of investment to deliver excellent, effective and cost-efficient professional service innovation. • Collaboration with professional service leads to appraise existing service delivery, efficiency and effectiveness of services, processes and supporting IT systems. Desirable • Development and delivery of investment proposals in new IT • Engagement and use of best practise across and beyond the higher education sector to support changes in service delivery, effectiveness and efficiency. • Benchmarking service efficiencies and effectiveness to inform service design standards.
