• Development of an overall programme approach to the development and appraisal of a multi-year programme of investment to deliver excellent, effective and cost-efficient professional service innovation. • Collaboration with professional service leads to appraise existing service delivery, efficiency and effectiveness of services, processes and supporting IT systems. • Mapping of end-to-end processes across the institution to inform transformation, change, re- design and new models of service delivery. • The design and oversight of all approaches to professional service user engagement to inform service appraisal, design and implementation. • Leadership of a community of practise of professional service roles leading service delivery change programmes in specific professional service areas.
• Development and delivery of investment proposals in new IT systems and solutions in partnership with IDS and development of compliant and value for money procurement of external services. • Engagement and use of best practise across and beyond the sector to support changes in service delivery, effectiveness and efficiency. • Benchmarking service efficiencies and effectiveness to inform service design standards • Championing the cessation of unnecessary processes. • Oversight of our programme of service-led continuous improvement projects. • All project management arrangements relating to major transformation projects. • A framework for monitoring financial and service benefits of transformation projects.
