YOU ARE EMPOWERING STUDENTS With growing support for scholarships, JMU empowers more deserving students.
A graduate of the first Valley Scholars cohort, JMU graduate student Kaitlyn is serving as student representative for the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics. “I’m a first-generation college student, so I value the opportunity to have an education. I want to make sure I’m doing my part to make this system better .” – Kaitlyn Good (’23)

$ 561,286 unrestricted giving 7.5 % increase over last year
Gifts to the Madison Vision Fund, the Madison Fund and the Parents and Families Fund allow university leaders to meet student and campus needs with agility and improve the Madison Experience for all.
Students minoring in entrepreneurship spent a semester designing, marketing and selling JMU-themed merchandise to give back to the local community. These student start-ups raised more than $30,000 for neighboring nonprofits.
