ARTour attractions
The 2012 ARTour Sept. 29 and 30 features 23 artists offering a chance for one-on-one chats and visits inside their studios in the Prescott-Russell region. A five-dollar ARTour passport bought at the first studio a visitor drops in at allows entry to other designated
artists studios on this year’s route. Proceeds from passport sales go to the Young Artists Fund set up by the ARTour committee. More details on this year’s ARTour route, a map of studios, and list of participating art- ist are available online at www.artour.ca.

First is a Zumbathon at the Ronald Lalonde Com- munity Centre on Sept. 26, 7 p.m. Proceeds from the zumba class and all other dona- tions go to the fund. Next is an all-day ben- efit spectacular Sept. 29 in partnership with la Club Optimiste de St-Pascal-Baylon. It starts with a walkathon-bikeathon at École du Rosaire in the village, with a light snack for participants. In the evening is a concert featuring both local musicians and per- formers like Arc-en-son and Héloise Yelle, and the country band, Cowboy Maze.
