Observe State or Local regulations pertaining to fertilizer content, timing of application and rates. In MD, this product is providing nutrients as determined to be necessary in accordance with a soil test that was conducted by a laboratory identified under 8-803.7 of this article and performed no more than 3 years before the application. In MD: Products containing over 5% phosphorus are starter fertilizers and are limited to establishing turf in the first growing season, repairing or renovation turf. Follow MD recommendations for annual P limit. In NH, NJ, VA: Application of a product containing phosphorus to turf is limited to establishing turf in the first growing season, repairing or renovating turf, or may be applied to established turf where a soil test performed within 3 years indicates a phosphorus deficiency. In MD, NH, NJ, VA: Application rates of soluble nitrogen are not to exceed 0.7 lb soluble N/1,000 sq.ft./application.(In VA - no more than 1.0 lb. to warm season grasses) Do not apply near water, storm drains, or drainage ditches. Do not apply if heavy rain is expected. Apply this product only to turf/garden areas and sweep any product that lands on hard surfaces back onto the treated area. Florida Specific Requirements for Fertilizer Use: For applications to Sports Turf, Golf Courses, Parks and Athletic Fields: 1.) DO NOT exceed fertilizer rates recommended in the document titled SL 191, "Recommendations for N,P,K and Mg for Golf Course and Athletic Field Fertilization Based on Mehlic III Extractant". 2.) Follow "Best Management Practices for the Enhancement of Environmental Quality on Florida Golf Courses" published by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. 3.) For all fertilizer uses other than as a specialty fertilizer on urban turf: DO NOT exceed rates recommended in the document titled "Florida Friendly Best Management Practices for Protection of Water Resources by the Green Industries", published by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.
