Education Over8,500people haveengagedin ourWELL AP exam prep and coaching, CEUs, sustainabilityconferencesand other education and training opportunities provided by Teknion. Local Donation Partnerships OurStudio TKfacilityin NorthCarolina, donates leftover fabric to the Scrap Exchange, a local waste diversioncollectiveand charity that offers arts and crafts materials to local artists, schools, and any other individuals engaged in creative projects. Health + Safety 100% of our manufacturing facilities are represented by a formal Health and Safety Committee that brings together plant employees and management to develop health and safety policies and procedures for the workplace.
Supporting Women Leadership Teknion both supports and trains women within our organization to obtain skills that are needed toadvance. 27%of leadershiproles (Director and above) are held by women, and 100% of new executive appointments over the past 2 years arewomen. Additional Partnerships Teknion partners with Formaca, a social economic enterprise that offers useful and rewarding jobs to people with physical or intellectual limitations, or difficulties integrating into the workplace. • Diverts furniture and other assets they no longer need from landfills by providing
them with the opportunity to sell, donate, and/or recycle them.
Your Divert Solution can include some or all of the options below
• Transparent and traceable, this program ensures our clients garner maximum financial
Donate We maximize the social return of your assets by matching them with registered nonprofits in need of furniture. Recycle Any furniture thatcannot be resold or donated isdisassembled and recycled in accordance with industry best-practice standards and at verified facilities. During this process, we often recover metals that provide you with additional financial value. Sell We sell as much of your furniture as possible, the value of which returns to you and offsets decommissioning costs.

How we work with you
Transparent Reporting We track and report the social and environmental impacts of your diversion efforts for all assets that enter the Divert program. Simple & Risk Free Teknion will support you in the process from start to finish. In collaboration with our program partners, we ensure the process is smooth and transparent, with minimal riskto you. Weprovide the Transfer of Title of any assets,eliminating your liability during the transfer of the furniture.
