Zev Vestel graduated from Urban High School of San Francisco and is pursuing a degree in physics at NYU in the fall. He “can’t wait to get to NYC and immerse in the jazz scene.” A highlight from his senior year was drumming for the SF Jazz High School All-Stars. He writes, “Thank you to my AVS teachers for believing in me, especially Mr. E-L and Ms. Diana.” Logan Graves was on the staff at an international AI program in the UK this past summer after graduating from Sacred Heart. He’s very excited to start a degree in Symbolic Systems (AI + cognitive science) at Stanford this fall.

Nora Wells is going into her senior year at Lowell. She shares, “I’m working as a lifeguard and swim instructor, which I love very much. In school, I’m a part of leadership for the Symphonic Band and am continuing to play the trumpet.“
Max Randall reports that he is currently at The Putney School and will be “living in an off-the-grid cabin next year.”
Alex Guthrie studied “Arabic in Rabat, Morocco this summmer through a State Department scholarship with the NSLI-Y program.” He shares, “I absolutely love everything about Morocco: the people, the language, the culture, the medinas, the old mosques, and especially the mint tea!” Alex will continue his school year at Hellgate High School in Missoula, Montana.

Delilah Roller sends her regards from Ruth Asawa School of the Arts and this fall will be attending The Mountain School. Ava Flynn reports that they are transferring to Drew this year and have been “working on several art projects such as a musical, a set of screenplays, and a comic.”
