Manufacturer Included in Crain’s NY Business Magazine 2017 Listing Crystal Windows ranked amongst largest NY area minority firms

or in seven surrounding New York and New Jersey counties. The ranking is based on an- nual company revenues from the prior year. Before 2014, the list included 25 top minor- ity companies, but in recent years it has been reduced to only the top 15 firms. “I’m extremely proud that Crystal continues to excel and be recognized by Crain’s,” said Steve Chen , Crystal’s COO. “With 20 million diverse peo- ple and tens of thousands of minority-owned companies in the New York metro area, this makes the recognition even

Head- quartered in New York, the company operates a national network of factories, branches, subsidiaries and affiliates in California, Illinois, Missouri, Ohio, and a new large Penn- sylvania facility. n U.S. Communities awards HD Supply 5-year contract Atlanta, GA — HD Sup- ply Facilities Maintenance , a supplier of maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) products, announced that U.S. Communities has awarded the company a 5-year Maintenance, Repair, Operating Supplies and Related Products and Services contract. This contract is five base years with the option to renew for five additional one- year periods. Maricopa County, Phoenix, Arizona served as the lead public agency and awarded the competitively solicited con- tract to HD Supply. “HD Supply was selected for this contract through a com- petitive solicitation process based on their proposal, of- fering a comprehensive MRO and property improvement solution that will provide value and savings to public agencies, including housing authorities and student housing,” said James Foley, deputy chief pro- curement officer with Maricopa County. “We are excited to continue our relationship and provide this contract vehicle nationwide.” “HD Supply is excited to ex- tend our growth commitment with U.S. Communities and Maricopa County,” said Will Stengel , COO - HD Supply Facilities Maintenance. n
LUSHING, NY — The recognition of national award-winning man-
ranked Crystal Windows 12th on its annual list of the New York area’s largest minority- owned companies. Others on the list this year include perennials Sigma Plastics, Goya Foods, PalladiumEquity Partners, Bartlett Dairy and several other relatively large firms new this year. Crystal Windows has been included in the Crain’s list for the past 20 years, since 1998. The Crain’s list is comprised of the largest privately held firms that are at least 51% minority-owned and head- quartered in New York City
