Q4 2025 Debrief

Dear BKF Team, As we close out 2025, I want to take a moment to reflect on the year behind us and, most importantly, to thank you, the team that keeps BKF moving forward. Last week’s Employee Appreciation Luncheon was a meaningful reminder of why these moments matter. It is one of the few times each year when we can come together as one firm to recognize the people who make BKF what it is and to honor the legacy that began more than a century ago. Thanks to your dedication, that legacy continues to thrive as we enter our 111th year, now with more than 490 employees and growing. At its core, the message this year was simple: thank you. Thank you for your hard work, your professionalism, and the way you consistently show up for our clients and for each other. This has been a year of meaningful change, and your adaptability, focus, and commitment have made all the difference. In 2025, we made real progress as a firm. We expanded into new markets and positioned ourselves for continued infrastructure growth across the region. We also invested time and energy into strengthening the foundation that will support BKF well into the future. Through the One BKF initiative, we have continued to build a more connected organization, aligning our teams, improving how we collaborate, and creating greater visibility and opportunity across business sectors. We are investing in top talent, forming smart partnerships, and strengthening our operations so we can respond to market shifts with confidence. Change is not new to BKF, and it is not something we shy away from. Our leadership team remains committed to meeting challenges head-on and ensuring we are prepared for what lies ahead. This year also gave us the opportunity to revisit a core question: why grow? For BKF, growth is not simply about size or scale. It is about focus, intention, and setting strategic priorities that allow us to remain on the leading edge of our industry. Our goal remains clear and unchanged: to ensure BKF continues to be recognized as the premier, most sought-after firm on the West Coast, known not just for what we build, but for how we lead. “What truly sets BKF apart is our culture. We care deeply about our people, our clients, and the communities we serve.” From Greg’s Desk... a message from Greg Hurd, President and CEO. There are clickable links within this newsletter.
