A leading distributor of janitorial and cleaning supplies and equip- ment in the United States, Puerto Rico and the Caribbean, the firm’s customers include hospitals, school districts and nursing homes. “Maintaining the supply chain is critical,” said Imperial Dade’s chief information officer Zach Plevritis. “When our fac- tories in China shut down due to the COVID-19 outbreak, it resulted in significant short- ages. Those factories are ship- ping now and we’ve ordered dozens of containers of gloves and masks and hospital sup- plies. We’re working to fill back orders while prioritizing critical care services to make sure they have what they need.” The company is also commit- ted to the health and safety of its employees. “Our staff is on a noble path and we are doing our part to flatten the curve as we continue to operate,” said Mary Mozejko , senior vice president of strategy. “We’re providing everyone with products to keep their workspaces and their homes clean. We disinfect truck drivers, our equipment opera- tors spray down equipment and we have two registered nurses taking people’s temperatures each day.” Imperial Dade, who was rep- resented by Palestina Scrivo Properties Inc. in the trans- action, plans to occupy its per- manent space in early fall, with Shifrin noting that Cushman & Wakefield is providing all of the resources necessary to ensure the move goes smoothly. He and Foster are also continuing to market the remaining space at West Side Center, which is currently over 90% leased. “The property presents office users of all sizes with the opportunity to occupy a headquarters-quality facility in the heart of the New Jersey Meadowlands,” he said. Reminiscent of Manhattan’s Chelsea Market, the building’s dramatic five-story atrium lob- by, 14-ft ceilings, collaborative spaces, upscale cafeteria, gym and a layout that capitalizes on natural light speak to the needs of contemporary office tenants. Other features include on-site guard service, covered parking and direct bus service to Manhattan.
