"W hoso p u tteth his tru st in the L o rd n h all be safe.” How wonderfully Paul proved this verse to be tru e in -the aw ful storm. Our life here on earth is a voyage through the world, and we will have to pass through many stormy tria ls and troubles, and unless, we have Jesus as our captain we will be shipwrecked and be lost, bu t if Jesus is our captain,. (5) And he shook off the beast into the fire, and felt no harm . ( 6 ) H ow beit they looked w hen he should have swollen, or fallen down dead suddenly: bu t after they had looked a great while,

(2 ) And the barbarous people shewed us no little kindness: for they kindled a fire, and received us every one, because of the present rain, and because of the cold.
