All4Labels Global Packaging Group has acquired Brazilian converter Flexoprint Labels as a part of its global growth strategy. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The Stange Warmeling and Schlickmann families signed an agreement to become co-shareholders in the All4Labels Global Packaging Group, making Flexoprint Labels a 100 percent subsidiary of the group. Flexoprint Labels is a packaging provider with a core focus on labels and sleeves. It has man- ufacturing sites in Brazil and Paraguay. The owners of Flexoprint will continue to man- age their business and will additionally take over key responsibilities in the All4Labels LATAM orga- nization to drive the growth in the region together with Fernando Gabel, All4Labels president for Latin America and his team. The transaction is expected to close in Q2 2022, subject to customary regulatory approvals. FLAG Plans 10th In-Person Annual Members Meeting FLAG (Flexo Label Advantage Group) will bring its Annual Members Meeting to Minnesota this spring. After two years, this meeting will be pre- sented in-person. Recognizing the need for continuing education and networking for independent converters, espe- cially after the last two tumultuous years, FLAG has announced the location, speakers and plant tour for its 2022 Annual Meeting. The meeting, which now draws more than 100 members and vendors, will take place at the Hyatt Bloomington outside Minneapolis on April 19-21, 2022. Meeting Highlights Highlights of the annual meeting include small peer breakouts, a tour of a member’s facility, exhib- its from FLAG Vendors and keynote presentations on mission critical topics for the independent con- verter. This year the group will tour Lofton Labels and learn how the owners have significantly grown their business over the past few years.
