The first two changes have already taken place.
The redesigned RTI homepage aims to reflect the fact that reporting PAYE in real time can be very straightforward. From this page you can see that there are only a few steps to follow. There is also a link on this page to the full RTI index. From Tuesday 5 Feb : RTI web pages which have edited, revised and updated in light of extensive user testing to ensure they are clearer and easier to understand A simplified site – with duplicated information or pages removed Increased prominence for the software downloads page so that it is much clearer – with the list of software at the top of the page All RTI pages will be fully searchable from anywhere on the HMRC website and Google Working links throughout the pages RTI promotional slots throughout PAYE pages and on some HMRC pages By early April , you can expect to see: A further simplified site – with Business As Usual PAYE pages and RTI PAYE pages merged Advert for RTI on the HMRC homepage
RTI AND BACS COSTS SURVEY RESULTS

42% of those paying via BACS reported that they will be incurring extra charges to include the hash total in field 7 of their BACS file which is required by HMRC in order to enable them to match payments against the RTI submission (FPS). The CIPP and Payroll Alliance ran a joint survey to understand what if any costs had been incurred by employers in respect of real time information. The results can be found in the document attached. As you can see the costs are varied, but 42% of those paying via BACS reported that they will be incurring extra charges to include the hash total in field 7 of their BACS file which is required by HMRC in order to enable them to match payments against the RTI submission (FPS).
We have shared these findings with HMRC to aid their understanding of some of the wider cost burdens on employers in respect of real time information
