Reflections from the Editor
Welcome to the Blue issue, Typically I start with one image or one body of work as inspiration for building a cohesive publication around a theme. This issue, however, seemed to pull together organically. I wanted to share my images from Chefchaouen, Morocco, known as the ‘Blue Town’, but I did not feel I had enough additional relevant content to continuethe format I used in previous publications. Considering a variety of other themes like travel, or inspiration, I finally settled on the one thing that seemed to unify everything I wanted to feature in this issue: the color Blue. My longtime friend and fellow photographer/artist has recently created a body of work and the overriding color pallet of her paintings is the color Blue. Therefore, she is the obvious choice for the Feature Artist. The Artist Showcase reveals art by many other talented artists... again,Blue! I hope you will enjoy this presentation of art, travel, home decor and more. Enjoy!
