M OROCCAN L OUNGE S he always had a desire to travel. As a child of the 50s, brought up in the Midwest her idea of exotic travel was probably Mexico, or at least Albuquerque. She could not recall anyone from her middle class and very white, small town high school ever talking about international travel. When the time came, she took a road trip across the US and spent time living in Hollywood. She often wondered how different her life would have been had she happened upon an exotic location like Morocco, in a foreign land. It would have been exactly the kind of place that would have beckoned her, with it’s hippie vibe.
