N UMBER 682 W ords seemed to escape her as she was reflecting on her feelings regarding this image. She was happy with the lighting the composition and the balance, the technical aspects, but she was finding it impossible to not go one layer beyond the surface to the subject matter. The plight of these women; were they simply resigned to their way of life and were they happy? Or did they dream of more freedom to make different choices? She could not imagine living a life with what appeared to be so few possibilities. Was the woman dreaming as she sat there or simply resting before her next task?
