The thing I remember most about Doug is how positive and personable he was since the day I met him. Whenever he would see us in person or hold a meeting, he would make you feel like a friend he’s known for so long and always tell the best stories, about his time in the industry, his family, his move to Texas, and everything in between. He was always making me laugh and make light of a hard thing – even with month end craziness or tough brokers, he always reminded me that all you can do is your best and as long as you’re doing that, it’s all that matters. Doug was always so encouraging and when we’d have a good month he’d always cheer us on. He was always there to support us whether it be on rushes, lock extensions, or to just be a sounding board. I feel so blessed that I was able to be on his team until his final days and will always have the utmost respect and admiration for him. We will miss Doug dearly and will never forget him or his impact on our lives. - Jennifer Sullivan
Doug was the brightest light in the room. Quick to smile, quick to give you a warm welcoming embrace, always full of positive energy. Doug had a long list of friends and even a longer list of stories to share. I will forever miss his charismatic energy, his gently laugh, and the man that cared so deeply about me. - Justin Smith
Doug was a great man. When he took over as manager when my previous manager moved companies, all he wanted to do was see me grow. It was outstanding to see his drive. He never hesitated to. He truly cared about my growth and trajectory. A selfless man and great colleague. Rest in peach to Doug and may God bless his soul and his family. Thanks for everything Doug. You’ll live in our memories forever. - Charlie Gonzalez
