MATING SUGGESTIONS: A six-time Gr.1 winner, Auguste Rodin scored at the highest level at two, three and four, and the fact that he raced 15 times highlights his soundness and durability. In addition to his first-class form, Auguste Rodin possesses exceptional bloodlines. His dam, the versatile Rhododendron, was a Gr.1 winner at two, three and four and her sister Magical won seven Gr.1s. Second dam Halfway To Heaven numbered the Irish 1,000 Guineas among her three Gr.1 successes and third dam Cassandra Go was one of the fastest fillies of her generation. Deep Impact has enjoyed tremendous success with daughters of STORM CAT , with this partnership producing nine Gr.1 winners, including the Prix du Jockey-Club winner Study of Man and the Japanese Derby winner Kizuna both proving extremely successful at stud. Saxon Warrior’s four winners from his first five runners out of STORM CAT mares include 116-rated King’s Gambit. Deep Impact also sired the French classic winner Beauty Parlour from a mare by GIANT’S CAUSEWAY . This suggests that Auguste Rodin will shine with mares by GIANT’S CAUSEWAY , SHAMARDAL , LOPE DE VEGA and BLUE POINT . LOPE DE VEGA is closely inbred to MACHIAVELLIAN , broodmare sire of two Gr.1 winners by Deep Impact. Saxon Warrior has already sired the Gr.1-placed Impact Warrior from a LOPE DE VEGA mare, and his three runners out of GIANT’S CAUSEWAY mares include Gr.3 2YO winner Moon Ray and Gr.1-placed Australian filly Aethelflaed. LOPE DE VEGA also sired the dam of Study of Man’s Gr.2 Prix Saint-Alary winner Birthe. Daughters of SCAT DADDY , CARAVAGGIO and NO NAY NEVER should be ideal for Auguste Rodin. Auguste Rodin’s pedigree is free from DANZIG . Deep Impact had Gr.1 winners from several DANZIG line mares and he has a French Gr.3 winner with a dam by ANABAA . Saxon Warrior’s Gr.2 winner Lumiere Rock has a 2nd dam by ANABAA . The GREEN DESERT branch merits serious consideration with Auguste Rodin now that Saxon Warrior has sired Victoria Road, winner of the Gr.1 Breeders’ Cup Juvenie Turf, from a mare by INVINCIBLE SPIRIT . This opens the door to daughters of KINGMAN , OASIS DREAM , CAPE CROSS , SHOWCASING and SEA THE STARS . Daughters of SEA THE STARS create 4x3 to Urban Sea. Mares by the many successful stallion sons of DANEHILL should work well with Auguste Rodin. DEEP IMPACT has Gr.1 winners out of daughters of FASTNET ROCK , REDOUTE’S CHOICE and ROCK OF GIBRALTAR , as well as Gr.2 winners with a dam by DANSILI and a Gr.3 winner with a dam by DANEHILL DANCER . Deep Impact’s son Kizuna sired the 2024 Japanese 2,000 Guineas winner Justin Milano from a fast EXCEED AND EXCEL mare. Study of Man’s Gr.1-winning daughter Kalpana has a dam by DANSILI , so daughters of ZOFFANY should also suit. Daughters of Sadler’s Wells’s noted stallion sons, such as MONTJEU , HIGH CHAPARRAL , BARATHEA and IN THE WINGS , create 4x3 with Auguste Rodin, with grandsons such as CAMELOT and AUTHORIZED creating 4x4. Two sons of Deep Impact have BTWs out of mares by FRANKEL , who creates 3x3 to Galileo with Auguste Rodin. The broodmares sires of Deep Impact’s Gr.1 winners include SADLER’S WELLS (the 2020 Prix de Diane winner Fancy Blue) and two sons of Sadler’s Wells’s brother FAIRY KING . SADLER’S WELLS and NUREYEV jointly sired the second dams of seven of Deep Impact’s Gr.1 scorers. Saxon Warrior has already sired the Gr.2-winning Lumiere Rock from a mare by NUREYEV’s grandson GOLD AWAY and a 2YO Listed winner from a mare by PEINTRE CELEBRE . Deep Impact’s Gr.1 Tenno Sho winner Jusin Palace is out of a grand-daughter of THEATRICAL . A second line of PIVOTAL could work well with Auguste Rodin, and mares by SIYOUNI should reinforce his 2YO ability. Deep Impact owes quite a lot of his success to mares from the MR PROSPECTOR line, including siring Gr.1 winners from daughters of LYCIUS (2), MACHIAVELLIAN (2), KING KAMEHAMEHA (2), EL CONDOR PASA , ELUSIVE QUALITY , SMARTY JONES (2) and UNBRIDLED’S SONG (2), including the Triple Crown winner Contrail. Saxon Warrior’s Gr.2 winner Borna has a dam by KING’S BEST and Auguste Rodin’s other options include daughters of DUBAWI , RAVEN’S PASS , ZAMINDAR , IFFRAAJ , NAYEF , STREET CRY , MEDICEAN and DUTCH ART . Daughters of ACCLAMATION and DARK ANGEL are others likely to reinforce Auguste Rodin’s juvenile ability. The black-type winners by Deep Impact’s older stallion sons include several inbred 4x4 to HALO and others are inbred 3x3 or 3x4 to Halo’s son SUNDAY SILENCE . 7
Height: 16.0½ (1.63m) - Won over 7f to 1m4f

MATING SUGGESTIONS: With 22 Group winners, including five Gr.1 winners, in his first six crops aged 3+, Australia has been fulfilling the potential of his outstanding racing career and classic bloodlines. A son of Derby winner Galileo and exceptional Oaks winner Ouija Board, Australia landed the Derby and Irish Derby before adding the Juddmonte International. DANZIG is back in the fifth generation of Australia’s foals’ pedigrees and several of his Group winners have a second line. His Gr.1 Breeders’ Cup Mile winner Order of Australia has a dam by DANEHILL and sons of DANEHILL are also playing a significant role. His first classic winner, Galileo Chrome, has a dam by DANSILI , while his 2024 Gr.2 Ribblesdale Stakes winner Port Fairy has a dam by FASTNET ROCK and the 10
Gr.2 winner Epona Plays has a dam by ORATORIO . Australia’s sire Galileo excelled with FASTNET ROCK mares, siring nine BTWs (20%), including dual Gr.1 winner WARM HEART . Australia is also making his mark with mares by DANEHILL DANCER , siring the Gr.2 winners Sir Ron Priestly and Leo de Fury and Gr.3 winner Waipiro. DANEHILL DANCER mares have a tremendous 19% black-type winners with Galileo. Australia also has the Gr.3 winner Elounda Queen out of a MASTERCRAFTSMAN mare. There are also Group performers with dams by DYLAN THOMAS and DUKE OF MARMALADE . Three of Australia’s Group winners - Buckhurst, Beyond Reason and Patrick Sarsfield - are respectively inbred 4x2, 4x3 and 4x4 to GREEN DESERT and he also has Listed winners out of daughters of OASIS DREAM and INVINCIBLE SPIRIT . Daughters of GREEN DESERT have produced 16% black-type winners to Galileo, including the Oaks winner Was. Five sons of Galileo - Frankel, Teofilo, Intello, Nathaniel and New Approach - have collectively sired an impressive total of nine Gr.1 winners from grand-daughters of GREEN DESERT , including Derby winner Masar. The broodmare sires involved are OASIS DREAM (5), CAPE CROSS , INVINCIBLE SPIRIT , KHELEYF and DESERT STYLE . Australia’s first two foals out of WAR FRONT mares are winners, including the classic-placed Adelaide River. Galileo has an excellent record with ANABAA mares, siring Bolshoi Ballet, Capri and Lush Lashes. A branch of the Northern Dancer line which has enjoyed repeated classic success with Galileo is the one represented by STORM CAT . Galileo has 16 BTWs from 72 foals out of daughters of STORM CAT (22%) and no fewer than 9 of them are Gr.1 winners (13%). Teofilo sired a Gr.1 winner from a daughter of GIANTS CAUSEWAY . As Marvellous, Gleneagles and Joan of Arc are out of a sister to GIANT’S CAUSEWAY , this is an avenue well worth exploring. Sons of Galileo have two Gr.1 winners, two Gr.2 winners and a Gr.3 winner out of daughters of SHAMARDAL . AUSTRALIA is benefiting from mares with AHONOORA blood. He has made an impressive start with mares by ACCLAMATION , which create 5x4 to AHONOORA . From 20 foals he has sired the very smart brothers Broome and Point Lonsdale and Gr.3 winner Counterparty Risk. Three other sons of Galileo have Group winners from ACCLAMATION mares, the very smart Diego Velazquez being by Frankel. Daughters of DARK ANGEL are a likeable alternative. Galileo’s classic winners New Approach and Was respectively have a dam and a second dam by the top sprinter AHONOORA . Another son of Galileo sired the brilliant Enable from a SADLER’S WELLS mare. Frankel, Teofilo and Gleneagles have all sired Gr.1 winners from daughters of MONTJEU , this being 3x3 to SADLER’S WELLS . They include winners of the Oaks and the Dewhurst Stakes. Australia’s American Gr.1 winner Ocean Road has a dam by THEATRICAL . He also has a Gr.2 winner with a dam by PEINTRE CELEBRE , three Listed winners out of PIVOTAL mares and two Group winners with second dams by NUREYEV . Galileo also excelled with this NUREYEV line, notably siring 14 BTWs from 47 foals out of PIVOTAL mares (30%). Frankel is also shaping up very well with daughters of PIVOTAL , with the top-class Cracksman and the classic-winning Nashwa among his five Gr.1 winners. New Approach sired the Oaks winner Talent from a PEINTRE CELEBRE mare. Galileo and his sons have thrived with mares from the MILL REEF line, and Australia’s first classic winner, Galileo Chrome, has a second dam by DARSHAAN . Thanks to his smart son Bangkok, Australia is one of four sons of Galileo to have sired a Group winner from DARSHAAN mares. Galileo excelled with the ROBERTO line, notably siring the King George and Eclipse winner Nathaniel, Great Heavens and Seville from daughters of SILVER HAWK . His partnership with INTIKHAB was tremendously effective, with five Group winners from 13 foals, including Arc winner Found. The BLUSHING GROOM line suits Galileo and his sons. Australia sired the Gr.1 winner Mare Australis from a daughter of RAINBOW QUEST . RAHY sired the second dams of Galileo’s Gr.1 winners Decorated Knight, Marvellous, Gleneagles, Joan of Arc, Happily and Deauville. Frankel and Teofilo have both sired Gr.2 winners from daughters of RAHY , so mares with RAHY blood are recommended for Australia. Australia has already sired the classic-placed Cayenne Pepper from a MR PROSPECTOR line mare, by GONE WEST’s son ELUSIVE QUALITY . The KINGMAMBO branch, via LEMON DROP KID and DUBAI DESTINATION , is recommended, as are mares by DUBAWI . Four sons of Galileo have Group winners out of daughters of DUBAWI , with Frankel and Teofilo having especially impressive records. 11

Blackbeard made his mark even earlier and he was scoring for the third time in as many starts when running out an impressive all-the-way winner of the Gr.3 Marble Hill S. on May 21. After being caught in the last stride of the Gr.2 Railway S., he reeled off decisive victories in the Gr.2 Prix Robert Papin, Gr.1 Prix Morny and Gr.1 Middle Park S. to improve his career figures to six wins and a short-head second from eight starts. Blackbeard represents an unbroken sequence of seven generations of Gr.1 2YO winners from his male line. Blackbeard is out of a mare by GREEN DESERT’s grandson Born to Sea. GREEN DESERT’s son INVINCIBLE SPIRIT sired the dam of No Nay Never’s fast Gr.2 winner Trillium, while another son of GREEN DESERT sired the dam of Gr.2 2YO winner Aesop’s Fable. No Nay Never has a 7f Gr.3 winner out of a mare by SEA THE STARS (a three-parts-brother to Blackbeard’s broodmare sire BORN TO SEA ). No Nay Never has an impressive 14
20% BTWs from 20 foals out of mares by OASIS DREAM , including Gr.2 2YO winners Array and Les Pavots. OASIS DREAM also sired the dams of Caravaggio’s Gr.1 winner Whitebeam and El Kabeir’s fast daughter Azure Blue, while Sioux Nation, another of Scat Daddy’s sons, has several good winners inbred 3x3 to OASIS DREAM , including Group winners Sydneyarms Chelsea and Ocean Quest. Blackbeard would suit grand-daughters of GREEN DESERT . Mares by sons of INVINCIBLE SPIRIT , such as KINGMAN and LAWMAN , would create 4x3 to INVINCIBLE SPIRIT , a sire of more than 70 Group winners. Blackbeard could be an ideal means of injecting precocity into the daughters of SEA THE STARS . This creates 5x4 to GREEN DESERT and 4x3 to the great mare Urban Sea. No Nay Never’s multiple Gr.1-winning filly Alcohol Free is out of a grand-daughter of Danzig, by HARD SPUN . He is also working very well with mares by sons of DANEHILL . In addition to Ten Sovereigns, out of an EXCEED AND EXCEL mare, he has black-type winners out of daughters of HOLY ROMAN EMPEROR , KODIAC , ROCK OF GIBRALTAR (Gr.2 scorer Land Force), FASTNET ROCK (Gr.2 winner Truly Enchanting), DANSILI , ORATORIO and CATCHER IN THE RYE . Mares by CAMACHO and CLODOVIL would also reinforce Blackbeard’s speed, as would daughters of CHOISIR , STARSPANGLEDBANNER , ZOFFANY , BATED BREATH and DANDY MAN . HOLY ROMAN EMPEROR is also the broodmare sire of Caravaggio’s outstanding daughter Porta Fortuna. Although No Nay Never has two lines of MR PROSPECTOR , this outstanding American stallion will be no closer than the fifth generation of Blackbeard’s offspring. No Nay Never is thriving with mares with MR PROSPECTOR blood. The Gr.2-winning siblings Arizona and Nay Lady Nay have a dam by ENGLISH CHANNEL , a son of SMART STRIKE . Two more of his Gr.2 winners, including the 2YO Zain Claudette, are out of daughters of SPEIGHTSTOWN and CHESTER HOUSE . Two sons of DUBAWI have sired black-type performers from Blackbeard’s family. Gr.1-winning brothers Little Big Bear and Whistlejacket are among No Nay Never’s four foals out of BERING mares. Blackbeard should do well with mares by FOOTSTEPSINTHESAND , SHAMARDAL , LOPE DE VEGA and BLUE POINT . It was LOPE DE VEGA who sired the dual Gr.3 winner Max Vega from Blackbeard’s family. The SADLER’S WELLS line is sure to provide Blackbeard with some good winners. No Nay Never’s Gr.2-winners Shadn and Visualisation have dams by SADLER’S WELLS , who also sired the dam of Justify’s Gr.1-winning daughter Opera Singer. No Nay Never also has five 2YO BTWs among his runners out of GALILEO mares. Justify’s numerous Group performers out of GALILEO mares include the top-class City of Troy. Sons of Scat Daddy have BTWs out of daughters of FRANKEL , TEOFILO and SIXTIES ICON . Mares by HIGH CHAPARRAL have produced three Group winners (12%) to No Nay Never and Ten Sovereigns already has a Listed winner out of one. The SHIRLEY HEIGHTS male line has quickly made its mark with No Nay Never. The smart siblings Wichita and Bubbling have a dam by DASHING BLADE , while the Group winning 2YOs Meditate and Midnight Mile respectively have a dam by DALAKHANI and a 2nd dam by DARSHAAN . Mares from the quick-maturing ROYAL APPLAUSE line should help Blackbeard pass on his considerable juvenile ability. No Nay Never’s very useful sprinter Royal Commando has a dam by ACCLAMATION , while ROYAL APPLAUSE sired the 2nd dam of Gr.2 winner Trillium. Daughters of DARK ANGEL , MEHMAS and EQUIANO would also suit. No Nay Never has a Gr.3 winner out of an INDIAN RIDGE mare and his Group winners Wichita, Bubbling, Land Force and Love Locket all have 2nd dams by INDIAN RIDGE . BLUSHING GROOM’s sons RAINBOW QUEST , NASHWAN and RAHY collectively sired the 2nd dams of five of No Nay Never’s black-type winners.

MATING SUGGESTIONS: The first to highlight Kingman’s excellence as a sire was his spectacular son Calyx. A highly impressive 5-length debut winner at Newmarket, Calyx reappeared ten days later in the Gr.2 Coventry S. Despite having to race on the apparently slower part of the course from his high draw, he burst well clear of his group and won well from Advertise and Sergei Prokofiev. Calyx was similarly impressive on his return to action at three in the Gr.3 Commonwealth Cup Trial, where once again he displayed an explosive turn of foot. Calyx has quickly highlighted his potential as a stallion, siring a substantial number of horses rated 90+. Three members of his first crop have become Group or Graded winners, while another two have been placed at Gr.1 level and a third at Gr.2 level. Calyx is showing distinct promise with GALILEO mares. Twelve of their first 16 starters have won, including Gr.2 2YO winner Persian Dreamer, Gr.1-placed Eben Shaddad and five others with Racing Post ratings of 90+. Kingman has also been a very popular choice for daughters of GALILEO . He has ten BTWs (10%), headed by Gr.1 2YO winner Commissioning. Broodmare daughters of FRANKEL have started very brightly with Kingman, producing 2024 Prix de Diane winner Sparkling Plenty and Gr.3 Jersey S. winner Noble Truth. Calyx could be a useful means of injecting more speed into grand-daughters of Galileo, by such as TEOFILO , NEW APPROACH and AUSTRALIA . Kingman’s 23 foals out of MONTJEU mares feature three group winners including French Gr.1 winner Feed The Flame. Kingman has 13% BTWs with daughters of PIVOTAL , notably siring Gr.2 Gimcrack S. winner Noble Style and Gr.1-placed Roseman. GREEN DESERT is going to be back in the fourth generation of Calyx’s progeny, and he already has the Gr.2 winner Classic Flower inbred 4x4. Kingman’s Group winners Fearless King, Technical Analysis, Ready To Venture and Chachnak are inbred 3x4 to GREEN DESERT . The smart American filly Technical Analysis has a dam by SEA THE STARS , whose daughters have 13% black-type winners with Kingman. Mares by sons of OASIS DREAM , such as SHOWCASING and MUHAARAR , create 4x4 inbreeding to Green Desert. Calyx already has the Gr.1 Irish Oaks third Purple Lily with that inbreeding. Calyx sired 2024 Listed-winning 2YO It Ain’t Two from a daughter of REQUINTO , by DANSILI . Kingman’s classic-winning son Persian King has a dam by DYLAN THOMAS and he also has GWs out of mares by DANSILI , Dansili’s brother CHAMPS ELYSEES , DANEHILL DANCER , FASTNET ROCK , DANROAD and EXCEED AND EXCEL . EXCEED AND EXCEL mares have 25% BTWs with Kingman. Daughters of KODIAC produce 4x3 to that influential mare Rafha. Kingman already has a Gr.2-placed American performer out of a mare by ROYAL APPLAUSE and a Canadian Gr.3 winner out of a mare by Royal Applause’s son ACCLAMATION . This line is well qualified to help Calyx sire Royal Ascot 2YOs. The two lines of MR PROSPECTOR in Calyx’s pedigree will be back in the fifth and sixth generations of his progeny’s pedigree, so there is no obstacle to adding more of the MR PROSPECTOR blood which has done so well with Calyx’s grandsire Invincible Spirit. Kingman’s outstanding miler Palace Pier has a dam by NAYEF and his 2024 2YO Gr.2 winner Celandine has a dam by a grandson of NAYEF . Kingman has two Gr.2 winners from KING’S BEST mares. Calyx’s useful Irish 2YO Barnavara is out of a grand-daughter of KINGMAMBO . Calyx had his first Group winner, Classic Flower, from the MACHIAVELLIAN line. He would be interesting with daughters of some of the successful stallions with dams by MACHIAVELLIAN , especially when ZOFFANY , DARK ANGEL , MEHMAS and SHAMARDAL are all qualified to reinforce Calyx’s remarkable juvenile ability. Then there’s LOPE DE VEGA , with his close inbreeding to MACHIAVELLIAN . From his first 4 foals out of DARK ANGEL mares, Calyx has sired American Gr.3 winner Zona Verde. Invincible Spirit has the Gr.1 winner Nazeef and the Gr.2 2YO winner Shartash out of DUBAWI mares, while Kingman has a Gr.1 winner from a DUBAWI mare and a Gr.2 winner from a MAKFI mare. Kingman has a Gr.2 winner and a Listed winner out of mares by sons of STORM CAT and sired the Gr.1 Prix de Moulin winner Sauterne from a grand-daughter of GIANT’S CAUSEWAY . Calyx’s 2024 Listed-winning 2YO It Ain’t Two has a second dam by FOOTSTEPSINTHESAND . Kingman has sired the Gr.3 winner Blush from 2 foals out of SCAT DADDY mares. Mares by NO NAY NEVER and CARAVAGGIO should suit Calyx well. 19
