Biola Goes on Air Coast to Coast

On Sunday, September 29, will be /realized a dream which has long been in the heart of Dr. Louis T. Talbot—a coast to coast radio broadcast. Some months ago, the Mutual Broadcasting System invited the Bible Institute of Los Angeles to consider the purchase of network time on Sunday morning, using a spot formerly held by the “America Back to God” program. After much waiting upon God, it has been decided to accept this offer, and to put the combined services of the Bible Institute of Los Angeles a n d the Church of the Open Door on a national radio hook-up. The program will origi nate in Los Angeles, Sunday mornings, 8 to 8:30. It will be currently heard in the Mountain states from 9 to 9:30, in the Central states from 10 to 10:30, and in the Eastern states from 11 to 11:30. The broadcast will feature the Bible teaching of Dr. Talbot, President of

the Bible Institute of Los Angeles, and Pastor of the Church of the Open Door, and will be p r o d u c e d and directed by Dr. William W. Orr, Vice President of the Institute. The various singing groups from the student body of the Bible Institute will participate, and a feature of the program will be the testimonies of young people who are candidates for missionary service to all parts of the world. Friends of the Bible Institute are asked to p r a y earnestly for God’s blessing on this new venture of faith, and to support it with their gifts as God enables them. The regular Pacific Coast broadcast heard each Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8 to 8:30 over a network of 40 stations w ill be conducted as usual as well.as Dr. Talbot’s Los An geles broadcast from 11:30 to 12 a.m. daily.
