NAPA VALLEY VINE TRAIL COALITION

VISION

PURPOSE

MISSION

Build a pedestrian/biking trail system to connect the entire Napa Valley— physically, artistically, and culturally.

Working to design, fund, construct, and maintain 47 safe and scenic miles of level, paved, family-friendly, pet-friendly, free-access Class 1 trail, stretching from the Vallejo Ferry to Calistoga.

Enhancing the Napa Valley by building and maintaining a safer, more sustainable, accessible bike and pedestrian path that connects our communities.

WHAT THE COALITION DOES

The Napa Valley Vine Trail Coalition (NVVTC) is a community of trailblazers—individuals, public agencies and private organizations—sharing their time, money and expertise to develop the Vine Trail. Community supported, the NVVTC is led by 28 community organizations and 35 volunteer leaders. Together, we BUILD, MAINTAIN, and MAXIMIZE the Napa Valley Vine Trail.

The Coalition performs 4 major functions:

1 2 3 4

Stewards community philanthropy for building funds and maintenance funds.

Co-writes federal and state construction and transportation grants for the County.

Optimizes landowner engagement and facilitates communication between agencies.

Accelerates pre-engineering to support local jurisdiction readiness to complete the 47-mile vision.
