Lest we forget. Inspirational concert
REMEMBER Abbey took part in the Lest We Forget concert at the Genting Arena on Saturday 3 rd November. The children were part of a moving and beautiful event to remember all those that lost their lives in war. They performed songs from WW1 and WW2 and joined a mass choir, who performed with a double orchestra and a brass band - quite a memorable experience! Well done to all of the children for taking part and representing our school in this special way. BHANGRA The children in Nursery have really enjoyed our visit from the 'Bhangra dancing man’! It was actually on Diwali day which made it even more exciting for everyone. Nursery children danced very energetically - pretending to sow seeds, dig and do all types of other groovy moves. Mrs. Gould was exhausted! They have also been very enthusiastic about starting to make diva lamps out of salt dough.
