Science launch! Bonkers start to a new topic
EXPLOSIONS On Monday, Year 1 had a fabulous Science day full of awe and wonder! They carried out many experiments of their own and were visited by Bonkers Bez from Sublime Science, who led them through an action-packed session involving: air pressure, electricity, mixing solids and liquids and much more. The children even made their own slime! Jonny from 1CP said, "We saw an explosion! The bottle went up. It was brilliant!"

GAS MASKS Year 6 have been learning about WW2 in their topic lessons so on Wednesday 9th January we had an ‘Inspire Workshop’ to make gas masks. We each made a gas mask and a box to put it in. The gas mask was made of: cellophane, black card, foam wrap and string. We made these gas masks and boxes in preparation for our WW2 sleepover. We want to thank all of the staff for making it a great experience.
