Healthy bake sale. Have cake (sell it) and eat it!

HARD WORK On Friday, Year 2 had their Healthy Bake Sale. We worked very hard during the week to make lots of healthy foods, some of which included fruit salads, fruit skewers, cheesecakes, jelly and cornflake cakes. We were all excited when we were making the foods as we had to cut up lots of different fruits. I was really happy and nervous when our parents came, but my favourite part of the day was selling the different kinds of healthy foods that we made.

HEDGEHOGS IN THE WOODS Reception children have been exploring Warley Woods during their Forest School session. Children listened to a story about a hedgehog. They then made their very own hedgehog using clay and natural materials. Each hedgehog had its ‘own home’ in Warley Woods. Keep an eye out for your hedgehog when you’re next in Warley Woods! A huge thank you to Mr Pogson, for organising a fun and memorable experience for the children.

Thanks to Miss Supple for the story
