Time flies! Workshop fun
STEAM TRAIN Year 3 invited their parent/carer into school to help them create their own timeline of events. As a team, they were able to craft their timeline in any way they liked. All they had to remember was to present their timeline in chronological order. It was a very creative and inspired session and overall, everyone had a great day! PICK YOUR OWN Year 3 had an amazing time at Hatton Adventure World! They packed so many activities into one day. From picking their own vegetables for tea, to feeding the cute guinea pigs a crunchy carrot. When they arrived, they couldn’t wait to get stuck in! They climbed onto the tractor and had a tour of the farm. The tractor then stopped at the fields, where the children picked their own potatoes and corn. The children noticed that they looked so different from when they saw them in the shops. The children then had the opportunity to feed the animals- goats, donkeys and pigs- so cute! Then it was off to ‘Snakes and Tails’- where those brave enough could stoke the snake! (Luckily it wasn’t a venomous one). The children were then able to stroke and feed the super cute guinea pigs. The baby guinea pigs were squeaking so loudly! We all had a fantastic day out.
