When a basal cell carcinoma was discovered on my eyelid, I found myself facing the prospect of Mohs surgery — something I never imagined I’d have to go through. I was quite frightened by the whole idea of so many people working on my delicate eyes. However, after I had my initial consultation with the surgeon who would be removing the cancerous growth and Dr. Scott, I felt surprisingly reassured.
