Reservoir Sluice Hydrodemolition This challenging project, at a 60 million cubic meter reservoir, involved removing defective concrete from the steeply inclined over fl ow sluice's sides, and fl oor. Gnat UK, collaborating with the main contractor, used our Aquajet Hydrodemolition Robots to safely remove the defective concrete while preserving the rebar. Environmental Considerations Hydrodemolition is ef fi cient, cost-effective & environmentally friendly. It signi fi cantly reduces noise pollution and eliminates fl ying debris and dust pollution, minimising the risk of silicosis.
