building is ready for dedication. Spare time is a rather unusual commodity with Wilbur Nelson; however, when time permits he en joys playing golf with his pastor, Rev. Wallace Norling of Del Rey Hills Evangelical Free Church, and an other frequent green companion, Dr. Clarence Erickson of the Heaven and Home Hour. The unique hobby of climbing mountains, however, carries a special fondness for Nelson and his son. They both have scaled Southern Califor nia’s sometimes icy Mount Baldy numerous times, as well as the more than 14,000 foot Mount Whitney, highest point in the 48 states. “I can’t put into words the magnificent, ex hilarating feeling it is to stand on top of a mountain,” Nelson explains.

“Norman and I hope to climb Mount McKinley, since Alaska is now one of the 50 states. We want to continue to say that we have reached the sum mit of the highest peak in the United States.” Judging from his past achievements in this and in other fields, he will do it. In the future, Nelson hopes to pre sent a series of television productions. “I have a special idea I want to de velop for TV,” he confides. “It will not be preaching, but more of the in formal relaxing atmosphere we have endeavored to present on the Morning Chapel Hour through these years.” With continuous efforts to develop ideas which will appeal to the non- Christian as well as to the Christian, Nelson’s constant prayer is that the Lord will continue to multiply and to bless his dedicated efforts.
