Valentines Day Roses, hearts, and love filled the air at this year’s Sweethearts’Banquet. Based on a me dieval setting, the theme “Love is the Great est Dragon Slayer” was portrayed through banners, heralds, and romance. The gym was converted into a castle fit for all the lords and ladies attending. The evening began with pictures and punch, then a delicious meal, followed by music and laughter. Laughter from two skits, “Prince and the Pauper” and “WOLBI Tradition.” Music from a concert given by Don Wyrtzen and Christine Wyrtzen. The lyrics of love were effective in making us reflect on our relationships with others and with our God.
