I walk in to find the room empty and bare, examining the small quarters, thinking they’re fair. My choice of which bunk, whether bottom or top, trying to decide, on each bunk I did flop! While choosing my bunk, I chose my closet space, Thinking, with all my stuff, how to live in this place. With suitcase and handbags all over the floor, In walks my new roommate through the clogged up door! With an exhausted look on her weary face, She says, “This room already looks a disgrace!” So she climbed over my stuff, chose the bunk over my head I’m you new roommate,”, shyly I said. After meeting my other roomates and girls within my dorm, Gradually my special friendships began to take form. Cherishing the moments shared with my dear friends, Making new friendships I know will never end. I’ll never forget this special year for me. The times we spent talking over hot chocolate and tea. The serious times and the times of fun and tease Are the memories we hold of our special “roomies”!
