Robert Gray Dean Of Men
Take time to behold Him, look oft in His face; And help will be given, new strength from His grace; Find Christ in the Scriptures; help there for the weak; As moment by moment His features you seek. Take time to behold Him, seek Christ in His Word; Spend much time in secret beholding thy Lord; As you look to Jesus, and Him only see- Transformed to His likeness thou surely shalt be. Take time to behold Him, rtwill quiet thy soul; Bring each thought and motive beneath His con trol; Thus changed to His image, and tuned to His praise, Effectual service will then fill thy days. J.I. “Three rope tricks," tours galore, weekend minis tries, sno-camp, and witnessing trips are just a few memories from a great year of service. And yet, in all of our service, we must not forget the most important things—as Jesus replied to one so involved in her activity, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and bothered about so many things; but only a few things are necessary, really only one .. ” That one thing is worship and devotion to Him. You see, God doesn't need smarter pastors or big ger programs—He wants better worshipers. Ser vice is vitally important and I trust that we have had a part in preparing all of you for that. But remember that service to others really only flows out of worship of our Lord. Let's always remem ber and practice his words that". . . the hour co- meth, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth; for the Father seeketh such to worship Him."
