To the Class of 1982 We read in II Corinthians 4:7 “But we have this trea sure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God. and not of us.”and in Ephesians 3:20 “Now unto Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us. This has truly been a foundational year for each one ofyou. I trust as you leave Word of Life Bible Insti tute that you will go forth and build on that strong foundation, always knowing that the true power comes from our Lord Jesus Christ and not your selves. I’m thankful for the opportunity I had in working with each one of you this year. I pray that your life will shine for Him, and that you will claim this power as you continue to live for Him. Luke 9:62... no man having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God . . . If the man doing the ploughing looks anywhere but straight forward, his furrow gets crook ed. Fix your desires on the path ahead. Look on. Go on. May God give each one of you eyes that are fixed, and continue in the things which you have learned, ploughing a straight furrow. How often this year we have looked back, only to find ourselves struggling. Keep the lovingkindness of the Lord before your eyes. He was tempted in all points like as we are, but He never yielded. Might this be a class that never yields, greatly re joicing in what the Lord has done and will do in the future. Margo Conrad 21
