Wayne Boggs is a highly respected Air Boss, recognized as a top professional in the field through his company, Air Boss and Consulting International Inc. For more than 25 years, he has played a crucial role in producing and executing numerous air shows annually and is also the Managing Partner of John-Wayne Air Cavalry LLC. Boggs retired from the FAA in 2004 after a distinguished 40-year career in federal service, including 10 years in the U.S. Marine Corps. He actively contributes to the aviation community by serving on the AIR BOSS: Wayne Boggs
board of directors for multiple organizations. His extensive experience includes air traffic control, instruction at the FAA Academy, and leadership roles within the FAA.
Ric Peterson is an award-winning broadcast journalist, and has been a voice over talent, and radio and TV host for more than 30 years. You may know Peterson as the voice of Fleet Week San Francisco, the Los Angeles County Air Show, The Canadian National International Air Show in Toronto, Friendship Day MCAS Iwakuni Japan, and the Sanicole Airshow in Belgium. Peterson is also an Honorary Member of the Snowbirds Jet Demonstration team and has previously been the Air Show announcer at NAS Oceana several times in the last 20 years, including 2024. Quality Airshow Sound & Events is founded, owned-and-operated by Bill Troiano, a private pilot. Troiano’s love for flying led him to get obtain his private pilot’s license at his local airport. When asked to provide sound at the first air show at Culpeper Regional Airport, Troiano jumped at the opportunity. He has provided sound at the Culpeper Airfest for 20 years and at NAS Oceana for the last three years.
