• Dr. John Reis Master, Academic Dean of the Institute 1973-76 . . . ex car and speedboat racer turned theologian . . . seminary professor become etiquette teacher. Most of us recognized Dr. Master by his voice alone in the fall quarter, as we were too busy trying to keep up with the notes to raise our heads. Then there were those books that passed in the twinkling of an eye . . . and who could forget the famour Masterisms? Joseph a magician? Joshua a loser? Samson a suicide? Hating the tests but loving the tester, we listened and we learned. From all of us 'dingbats1 and ?chirpiesf, we hope you enjoyed your banquet, Dr. John, and the few tokens of our affection. We praise God He allowed us this year of study. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. .
