In this Bicentennial year when we celebrate the birth of our nation we are reminded over and over again that America has drifted a long way from the basic principles upon which our nation was founded. Today there are many people who would even like to deny that America ever was founded as a Chris tian nation.
From the Pilgrims who drew up the Mayflower Com pact, to George Washington, the father of our country, to the founding fathers who drew up our Constitution, history proves that this nation was led by men and women who not only had a profound faith in God but were unashamed to bow before Him and ask for His guidance and wisdom.
