TERMS & CONDITIONS: Hornung Livestock will retain a 1/3 semen interest on all bulls in this sale, buyer has full possession and salvage value of the bull at the end of his useful life. Announcements made sale day shall take precedence over this and all other printed material. Each animal will be at the purchaser’s risk immediately after the animal is sold. All animals sell under the Standard Terms and Conditions of the American Angus Association. Bulls deliveries, will start beginning of April. Those who need to have their bulls with us longer, arrangements can be made. LIABILITY: All persons who attend this sale do so at their own risk, legal or otherwise. Hornung Livestock assumes no liability for property loss or accident that may occur. HEALTH: All cattle have been vaccinated for Blackleg, IBR, PI3, BVD, BRSV, and dewormed. All bulls have passed a Breeding Soundness Exam. All bulls have been tested free of all known genetic defects. FREE DELIVERY: We offer free delivery to customers within a 300-mile radius of Stratton. For buyers outside this area, we provide free delivery to central locations for purchases of 3 or more bulls. For all other deliveries we will deliver the bulls to you at your cost. We do offer a $50 refund on each bull you haul yourself or pick up at Hornung Livestock within one week of the sale. REPEAT BUYER AND VOLUME DISCOUNTS: If you purchased an animal in last year’s sale, you will receive a 5% discount on all purchases in the year’s sale. For any customer who purchases 5 or more bulls, you will receive 5% off your bull purchases. Customers may qualify to receive both discounts; we appreciate your continued support and business! SERVICE AFTER THE SALE: We understand that everyone has different marketing plans and goals, from selling calves at weaning time to retaining ownership all the way through in a value-added branded program. We are committed to helping you receive top dollar for your genetics, please reach out to see how we can assist you to achieve your goals. FIRSTBREEDINGSEASONGUARANTEE: Allbullssellsatisfaction guaranteed throughout the first breeding season. If a buyer is not satisfied for any legitimate reason, they are entitled to a replacement. If a replacement bull is not available when needed, credit will be issued for next year’s sale. EPDs contained in the hard copy of this sale book were current as of print date. Digital versions of this sale book can be viewed online at www.angus.org and will have EPDs updated every Friday with the exception of EPD references in footnotes and photos.
