Letters to the Editor Stop Signs, Instant Replays & the Ten Commandments
Editor, Wisconsin Christian News: February 2026 They say there are two sides to every story, and “they” are right. Problem being, both sides can’t be right. Truth transcends wrong thinking and wrong feelings. In view of the recent murders in our country along with an increase of extreme hatred and violence many are asking, how can we turn this around? What is the answer? Guns in the hands of deranged peo- ple are dangerous and shouldn’t be al- lowed. Is the answer to the problem to restrict guns from everyone? Or, to help people with their wrong thinking? After all, it wasn’t the rifle that climbed up on the rooftop, it wasn’t the barrel that lined itself up with the intended tar- get, the cartridge didn’t load itself, the scope didn’t pull the trigger, it took feet and legs, hands and arms, a finger, and eye, connected to a brain to put that all together, and then that brain connected to a very dark heart to make the decision and commit the crime.

Also in Isaiah 28:15 it says, “we have made lies our refuge, we cower under deception,” Judges 21:25 says, “every man did that which was right in his own eyes.” Ephesians 4:18 says that our understanding has been darkened, we are alienated from the life of God through our ignorance and the hardness of our hearts. But in John 8:12, Jesus makes this bold claim, “I am the light of life of the world: he that follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” In John 3:7, “don't be amazed that I say to you, you must be born again.” Your choice. -Tom Harrison, Fence, Wis.

Then spread the Word to everyone you know. Become a messenger for Christ. While time remaineth, study the life of Jesus Christ and understand eternal life, in His glo- rious presence, is possible to achieve with faith and re- pentance. Be aware sins have consequences if left unforgiven. Repent. This story is meant to be a global warning for all levels of society. It’s time for action. Love is the most powerful force in the world. Jesus is God’s love for mankind. Faithful do-gooders should carry on with their good deeds. Chaotic evildoers should change their evil ways and help support the common good of mankind. God sees everything as if it has all taken place already. God’s style is to forewarn humanity of future events, es- pecially when they prove to be God’s will, not random timing or good luck. Think of the Annunciation of the Lord, (Luke 1:26-38), as proof of a Master Plan. The Bible provides all of the vital details about the sec- ond and final coming of Jesus Christ. The book of Rev- elation ends with Jesus promising to return “soon.” The exact hour is known only by God. It might be just two years away or maybe two whole centuries from now. Signs are occurring that indicate it may be real soon. Stay alert and pay attention. Recent history and current events, foretold in the Bible thousands of years ago, are aligning as predicted. Study Luke Chapter 21, Matthew Chapter 24, and 2 Timothy 3:1-17 for signs of the world we live in today.

enough to spark a conflagration. These groups have no in- centive to change their ways, because if they are violent enough, the GOP caves in to their shrill demands every time. For example, while the No Kings riots and the Schumer Shut- down failed, the House just voted to extend Obamacare, in- cluding tax-funding abortions. And the Senate will probably go wimpy as well, and Trump said something about being “flexible” on the Hyde Amendment. So much for GOP resolve. Like the TET offensive, where the NVA got blown away, the commies won in the long term, because “our people” lacked resolve. I say Tim Walz, Tina Kotek, and all the Somali ghetto, and the whole city of Portland should be deported. Send the So- malian Muslim back to Somalia, and send the rest to Cuba or Venezuela. The term “criminal illegal alien” is a conservative wimp term: if they are HERE ILLEGALLY, they ARE criminals. What should happen is that alien pimps, rapists, dope dealers and murderers should be removed. No American would think that he could go to Japan, kill a Japanese person, on his or her own soil, and expect the worst punishment he would face is to be sent home. That is why America looks so wimpy in the eyes of the world. It is time to go after these people in a major way. They couldn’t hate us any more than they already do, and maybe some of those people will make good on their statements, and actually leave America and ruin other countries with their behaviors, instead of ours. -Riley Hood, Milwaukee, Wis.
January 07, 2026: Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz talked about activating the Minnesota National Guard to protect “the people” of his state from rogue federal agents, following the shooting of a lesbian psychopath in Minneapolis by federal law enforce- ment. Walz held a press conference on Wednesday after the news broke that an Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agent shot and killed an agitator in her vehicle. According to the Department of Homeland Security, the woman hit an ICE agent with her car, and the ICE officer fired shots in self-de- fense killing the driver. Trump should respond to Walz and Na- tionalize the Minnesota National Guard, like JFK did in Alabama. When Tim Walz, or Tina Kotek, Katie Hochul, Gavin New- som, all of them — say they are defending the people of their State, why is the person they are defending always a criminal? Like George Floyd? Or members of MS-13, or Tren de Aragua? I thought it was a grotesque act of hypocrisy on the media’s part when on January 6th, this year they climbed upon a dung hill to crow about the “Trump Insurrection” when they spent over 6 months of 2020 supporting the “George Floyd” or “Black Lives Matter Riots.” Isn’t it interesting that the same ANTIFA mob that has never stopped rioting, has chucked the “Free Palestine” and “No King” themes in favor of rioting for Nicholas Maduro, and now this lesbian. They engage in violent tactics and push the en- velope. They fill the atmosphere with gas, and any event is
