Planting Seeds of Discernment – Minneapolis and Beyond
By JR Harrison, Natural Family Foundation February 2026 When a lib- eral “Karen” was recently asked if she
jective facts cannot exist because it would leave them exposed. So now
to discuss make it clear that you are there and willing to work with them.
Start practicing a non-judg- mental perspective that will be the key to your ultimate success and the eventual re-unification of our great country. We can rightfully admon- ish our Christian and other community leaders for not doing anything but in the end, “for evil to flourish good men need only do nothing.” If you see a need, folks, that is your calling, the lack of church leadership
thought that children in- herently needed their bio- logical mother and father, she quickly responded that “putting our focus on rigid family structure is a mis- placed priority.” Ok Karen, so what if it can be proven that every child has an in- herent need for their biolog- ical parents and it is healthier for them, all things being equal?

Our Karen then said it would depend on who did the study and the methodol- ogy used and then she said something that made the divide within our fellow Americans clear as day. She noted that EVEN if the study had the correct methodology and was not from a Reli- gious/conservative organization, she wanted everyone to know that “there re- ally is no proof of anything” further stat- ing, “We can’t even prove gravity. It’s just evidence.” It would appear that our local Karen, along with millions of other Americans, are all suffering from a Political Anxiety Disorder or (PAD) for short. This is a dis- order that is characterized by sentiments of fear and anxiety that quickly surfaces in political situations causing consider- able distress and impairing one’s ability to function, especially when it comes to thinking or acting rationally. These fears can be triggered by per- ceived or actual scrutiny from others. In- dividuals with the Political Anxiety Disorder fear negative evaluation from other people and are prone to experience severe incidents of Factophobia.
Because many of our Christian and community leaders have re- mained silent on the issue of fam- ily or today’s hottest issue, immigration, it is incumbent upon us individually to help oth- ers navigate these choppy waters. To do this effectively, we must offer non-threatening alternatives and find common ground to avoid triggering further anxiety leading to further division. One recommended approach is to “plant seeds” by carefully shift- ing the focus to issues everyone could all agree on. For example, when discussing today’s hottest issue — like immigration or sanc- tuary cities — we might first ask if others are aware of the ongoing struggles of hurricane victims in Western North Carolina, the plight of homeless veterans, or the reality of child trafficking in the United States. By focusing on these relatable issues and using neutral language, we can demon- strate a willingness to work to- gether.
