Wife of: Raymond Mother Of: Stephen John (with the Lord) Timothy Marc Deth Aleya
On Thursday, May 19, 1983, the Lord sow fit to call Leslie Namie home to be with Him. Leslie was the wife of Ray Namie, our Director of Evangelism and former Dean of Men, and the mother of five children. She was a constant testimony to each of us of one who truly had the jo y of knowing the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior. She was never with out a smile and a kind word. Her cheerfulness was a blessing to us all. She showed, by exam ple, her gift of hospitality. Truly Proverbs 31 was fulfilled in Leslie, and though we feel a great loss, heaven has received a beloved saint. Our prayers are with Mr. Namie and the fam ily, and we know God's grace will be sufficient for them at this rime. "So when this corruptible shall have pur on incorruprion and this mortal shall have pur on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. Bur thanks be to God, which giverh us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethern, be ye steadfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is nor in vain in the Lord."

O Thar Will Be Glory When all my labors and trials are o'er And I am safe on that beautiful shore, Just to be near the dear Lord I adore Will thru the ages be glory for me. O that will be glory for me, Glory for me, glory for me; When by His grace I shall look on His face, That will be glory, be glory for me! When, by the gift of His infinite grace, I am accorded in heaven a place, Just to be there and to look on His face Will thru the ages be glory for me. Friends will be there I have loved long ago, Joy like a river around me will flow; Yet, just a smile from my Savior, I know, Will thru the ages be glory for me.
