Extended Range Knopp Current Transformer The Knopp KCTS-8000X is a state-of-the-art transformer testing system engineered for superior accuracy and operational efficiency. Leveraging Knopp’s renowned precision, the KCTS-8000X expands Knopp’s present robust testing capability to allow for testing of CTs down to 1% Rating Factor. Equipped with electronically compensated burdens, the system adjusts for active impedance and power factor to maintain accuracy even at low levels. Real-time burden measurements are displayed and recorded for thorough test validation.
The KCTS-8000X also features an upgraded industry-leading compara- tor with improved low range accuracy, protective circuitry, motorized control, an RS-232C output port, and now TESCO Device Manager integration to further enhance testing efficiency. With additional features such as transformer demagnetization and a convenient connection kit, the KCTS-8000X offers an advanced, reliable solution for precision test- ing in metering and billing applications.
