Important Information Regarding Contractor Continuing Education (CE) Requirements Your Contractor License Number Is Needed to Report CE Credits to DOPL. Please provide AGC staff with EACH license number you want CE credits for attending this conference. There is a $10 fee for each license you want reported to DOPL. Required Hours. Each licensee shall complete six hours of continuing education during each two-year license term. A minimum of three hours shall be core education; the remaining three hours may be professional education or core education. *NOTE FOR S330, S410 & S350* S350 HVAC Contractors must take three hours (of their six hours of CE) which is directly related to the installation, repair, or replacement of a heating, ventilation, or air conditioning system. These three hours are Core hours required by the state. S330 (Landscape and Recreation) and S410 (Boiler, Pipeline, Waste Water, and Water Conditioner) licensees that actively work with and install backflow prevention devices may have additional CE required as well. You are required to have your continuing education completed for your renewal by the November 30th deadline every odd year, 2025, 2027 etc. This cycle ends November 30, 2025. Attending this conference does NOT mean your license is renewed. You must go online at www.dopl.utah.gov/contractor to renew. Give us at least 24 hours to upload your hours.
