VISIONS AND VOICES INSIDE THE ‘FOUNDERS’ FORMULA FOR SUCCESS
we’re down in the trenches. One of the ways I work to rise above these feelings when they appear is by dedicating myself to learning new things. Although my schedule doesn’t always allow me to read as many books as I’d like, I’m an avid podcast listener, and there’s one in particular I’m excited to tell you about. As I’ve written before in this newsletter, I’m a big fan of a podcast called “The Tim Ferriss Show.” Recently, Tim welcomed a guest who has truly helped broaden my horizons. His name is David Senra, and he hosts the “Founders” podcast. Over the past several years, David has produced hundreds of episodes that explore the lives of the most prosperous individuals in history. A dedicated and passionate researcher, David has a gift for getting inside the minds and histories of super-successful people, including the likes of Warren Buffett, James Dyson, and Michael Dell (just to name a few). He breaks down these individuals’ stories and explores the many rabbit holes of who influenced them, how they overcame obstacles, and how they achieved greatness. Whether sharing biographical information or interacting with these figures directly through one-on-one interviews, he presents colorful, insightful, and deeply inspiring portraits of fascinating people. Hello! I’m excited to share my first update of the new year with you. First, I’m happy to say that my sister, Juliet, isn’t the only member of our family who’s jumping these days! As I mentioned here before, I love horseback riding. I’ve been doing it for at least a third of my life, and it feels more fun all the time. Recently, I reached the stage where I can do real jumps with my favorite horse at the horse farm. The jumps aren’t too high, but I still need to concentrate and be in control of the situation. I’m happy that I’m still riding after so many years. I started doing it as a way to try something new, and I’ve stuck with it ever since. Even when I’m a little nervous, I enjoy challenging myself. Horseback riding is an excellent mix of grit and joy, and horses are such wonderful, calming animals. By the time you receive this month’s newsletter, Juliet will have started riding as well. I hope she’ll end up loving it as much as I do. The last time I updated you all, I was rehearsing for my stage debut in my school’s production of “Elf.” Well, the big day arrived, and it was so much fun! I really enjoy acting and dancing as an elf. For my first time acting, I think it went really well! For me, the biggest lesson I learned from being on stage is to try new things. Even if you make mistakes, it’s a chance to grow and be a more well-rounded person. If there’s something new you’d like to do this year, you should definitely do it!
Inspiration can come from many places; you just have to look (or listen) for it.
Let’s be honest: We all have down days from time to time. Whether you own a business, are raising a family, or are simply trying to make the best of your life, it’s sometimes too easy to focus on the negative when

I’ll be back with another update in a couple of months. Until then, keep having fun and seeking new adventures!
