Word of Life Bible Institute Yearbook 1979

As most Thanksgiving mornings start with a football game, so did the one at WOLBI. A balmy breeze and an overcast sky made it a perfect day. The Powder Puffs would every one up for the main event with their fantastic rendition of flag football. Then the students played an exciting game against a tough fac ulty team. This was the Turkey Bowl in its finest m om ent. After the morning fun, every one was ready for the formal event, the Thanksgiving Banquet. Everything was per fect, ice sculptures, gym decorations, and a delicious m eal cooked only as the kitchen staff knows how. Four January students shared their testimony of the year and said farew ell. Pastor Walter Holder, the main speaker, spoke con cerning our country's condition. The Colleg ians first performance of Ring the Bells was enhanced by the first snowfall of the year. It may not have been Thanksgiving life at home, but it was a special Thanksgiving Day at WOLBI.
