HANDSHAKE Handshake is a tool for students to use with exciting career content and personalized job recommendations. It provides events such as career fairs and networking sessions to strengthen your job search skills. Also, students will have the upper hand in interviewing and making connections with job recruiters and young professionals. Missouri Valley College has joined over 1,500 colleges and universities in using Handshake to help students reach their career goals. Let us help you launch your career! CAREER SERVICES Career Services is a resource at Missouri Valley College that will help support and guide current students and alumni in their career development and job searching efforts. Our department aims to obtain information on companies, current opportunities for employment and making the transition from school to career. Career fairs and workshops are provided to help students take charge of the information given and use it to their full potential. EDSIGHTS EdSights is an artificial intelligence-powered texting platform designed to measure and improve each student’s experience. The platform offers a text messaging chatbot and predictive analytics to identify students who are at risk of dropping out and connects them to on-campus resources, enabling Missouri Valley College to engage and retain students.
