The grass withereth, the flower fadeth, but the word of our God, shall stand forever. Isaiah 40:8 Lord, this book we dedicate to You. Each page is a thank-you for our very special year. Every morning we saw a sunrise and your soft pastels in the sky. In stillness we lelt the whisper of the wind, the strength of the mighty mountains and the peaceful hush of your lake. Daily you held our hand and gently wiped our tears, helping us see °f7 hat y°u had ahead‘ Thank Y°u Lord, for giving to us, Your children, a time to listen, a tame to learn, and a time to truly know that the Word of our God shall stand forever.

Jack Wyrtzen, President

"The man with the smile" - a real smile, showing the warmth of a man who really cares. Though you were always in action, you were never too busy to stop and listen. We've learned more from you than a few lines can tell. We've seen strength in the face of ad versity, and wisdom in tough situations. We've seen the carefree laugh of the little boy inside . But most important, we've seen a man who daily walks and talks with the Creator. Thank you for teaching us to know Him too.

Harry Bollback, Vice President

We've seen you love so many, as if you'd known them all your life . Your songs, your laughter and mis- chievious ways have brightened so many days. You've shown us too that any job worth doing must be followed to the end. Your perseverance and steadfastness have shown us to keep pressing on. Thank you for your love and concern.

1

Stuart Page-Executive Dean

You have made our year a smooth system of one learning experience following the other. Your fine ad ministrative ability has made us look back with ad miration at your faithfulness. The discipline you've given has helped us become ready to face what lies ahead, knowing that though we may be knocked down, we'll not be knocked out. Thank you for your fine ex ample.

It was your encourage ment, loving discipline, con sistency in Godly living, emphasis on the importance of Quiet Time, faith in us, and concern, not only for us as a student body, but also for us as individuals, which reflected to us the reality of Christian living and left an imprint on our lives. For be cause of you, we love Him more.

To be on the road with "Ring the Bells" and "God, Coun try, Decency, " touring through so many states, on such a variety of stages, and spending countless hours on the buses, is definitely a unique experience. But noth ing could quite compare with the joy of seeing so many lives changed when God touched hearts through this music ministry. "O come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; Let us shout joyfully to the rock of our salvation." Psalms 95:1

"Cheer up ye saints of God . . .

And it came to pass that WOLBIs first pow der-puff panorama occurred that there might be friendly, funfilled fellowship around a football. Good competition and hard-playing games marked the day as the non-choir and choir teams met their match on the field. Then we gathered together as a family to give thanks to God. "For the Lord is good; His lovingkindness is everlasting, and His faithfulness to all genera tions. " Psalms 100:5

"Would you stop singing and play b a ll! "

Now that we're warmed up, what do you say we take on the guys?"

For weeks we had heard of the omniscient powers of Cupid Com puter, and finally the moment of matching up came - and so did the butterflies. Once that long walk before hundreds of eyes across the gym floor was over, the evening with its fine banquet, love songs, puppets, and Dr. White’s wise, witty words on love, was a heart stomping success.

A Burden For Souls . . .

It was a week of vision stretching as we viewed God's hand working beyond our own borders. Its closing day left many with a deci sion to make, a goal to fol low Christ - whatever it takes, for a life of sharing the gospel. A faith promise of $43, 125 was only a re flection of the burden for souls impressed upon our hearts.
