Word of Life Bible Institute Yearbook 1972

Before I was saved I spent my evenings leading a dance band orchestra. George, a budy of mine in the U. S. Army band, handed me a Gospel of John. I tore it to pieces! Six months passed, and we went off to army camp together. After watching George in that army camp for two full weeks, twenty-four hours a day, and not ing his consistant Christian life, I decided he had something that I didn't have. George invited me to a Gospel meeting. I didn't like it and left the meeting mad. That night God brought me under deep conviction. I slipped out of bed, got down on my knees and admitted to God above that my life had been stained, marred and blackened with sin. I asked Him right there and then to save me for Jesus' sake.
