October 13, 1979 The class of 1980 came in with a storm and kept the air a stir for one of the first social events of the school year this Saturday night in October. The dress was “Hobo” and we came in jeans with hair slicked back or in ponytails for a great time. It turned into a “holey” activity as shoes were shed into a large pile for later retrieval. The first contest was creating names and cheers for our teams. Then there were relay races, a doughnut eating contest, and even a Russian Egg Roulette! The evening was a great success ending with refreshments and an inspiring message from God’s word by Dick Andes.
